Accidents and injuries happen all the time. Whether it’s a slip, a fall, being crushed, or being one of the approximate 3 million people in the U.S. who are hurt as a result of being in a car accident each year, there are countless ways in which our bodies can become hurt and where we can experience pain and a range of other symptoms. Depending on the severity of your accident and injury, you may need immediate medical attention, or if you are lucky, you may walk away from the scene feeling fairly unharmed. Often in the case of the latter, it becomes clear several days later that you aren’t quite as unscathed as you first seemed. This is because it’s possible to suffer from non-visible injuries that later cause pain and other debilitating symptoms.

Most people will be involved in a car accident at some point during their lifetime. Many incidents are very minor, and patients can walk away with cuts and bruises, or often, no visible sign of injury whatsoever.
